The Sacred Water of the River Uda
Uda is in valley of evergreen forests and spacious stepps shinning in
the sun playing with waves flowing river with cleanest water It taker
her beginning in Sosnovo - Ozersk Further violent currents of Uda directed
in Baikal. On her way she met with Selenga. Of old times peoples of these
places thought that uda is a saint river.
There are many legends about this river. It is spring of saint water which
gives eternal life. Many stories are connected with her inhabits. I want
to tell you about one of such legend:
Once upon a time there was a tsar of fish who lived in submarine kingdom
river Uda.
He had a daughter, who's everybody thought a beautiful woman local of
water. Her name was Golomyanka. It was time to marry. Father called the
very best fishes from his kingdom and gave a task: clean local of water.
A reward is a wedding with Golomyanka. A garden with uncommon, nice seaweeds,
and also, place where lie beautiful stones of Uda. In the morning, after
when rays of sun illuminated the bottom, Golomyanka set off to looked,
how her fiances managed with task. When she swam so near by shore, waves
threw out her on the shore straight in the sun, because the ebb began.
Golomyanka began to suffocated and trembled. But suddenly a raven arrived
to drink some a water. Then he flew past Golomyanka and threw off drop
of saint water on her. It was a water from spring of eternal life. Golomyanka
overturned and approached to legacy water. Past swam fiance from family
of cold fishes. He noticed Golomyanka and risking his life swam by shore
and saved her.
If there is not water in the world will die.
